Device permissions for Personal Data access

Depending on the User's specific device, Private Photo & Video Vault may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User's device Data as described below.


By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, Users may refer to the device settings or contact the Owner for support at the contact details provided in the present document.

The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User's device and software.

Please note that the revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of Private Photo Vault.

If the User grants any of the permissions listed below, the respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e accessed to, modified or removed) by Private Photo & Video Vault

Storage permissions (for Android 5.0 to 10)

- When you use the feature of organizing photos and videos, we need to access your storage to scan, encrypt photos and videos on your device. This permission is only for scanning photos and videos from your device or saving files to your device. We will not obtain or collect any video & photos from your device, nor will we automatically modify or delete the content in your local media storage.

Access to all files permission(for Android 11 & above Android version)

- Due to security policy updates of Android 11 and above, we need to turn on “All Files Access” permission to scan,encrypt images and videos on your device. This permission is only for scanning photos and videos from your device or saving files to your device. We will not obtain or collect any video, photos, audios or other files from your device, nor will we automatically modify or delete the content in your local media storage.

Camera Permission

- When you send feedback with photos, we need to access your phone's camera. This permission is only used for sending feedback with pictures.

Sensitive personal information

We will never ask you to send us or submit to the Service any information related to racial or ethnic origin; political opinions or union membership; religious or other beliefs; your health, biometric or genetic information; information about your sexual preference or sexual orientation; or information about your criminal background.

Third Party Sites and Services

The Service may link to or integrate with other websites and services operated by third parties, including social media platforms, advertising services and other websites and applications.  These links and integrations are not endorsements of, or representations that we are affiliated with, any third party.
